1. American artist Daniel Johnston passed away on September 10, 2019, at the age of 58.
The death was caused by a heart attack. This was confirmed by his ex-manager Jeff Tartakov. Johnston was born in Sacramento, California, and grew up in West Virginia. In the late 1970s, he began recording music on Sanyo's monophonic boom box, accompanying his singing with the piano and organ chord. Johnston's musical works gained some fame when he moved to Austin in the early 1980s. There he managed to attract the attention of the local press, and fans began to appear, the number of which grew since the musician had the habit of giving everyone he met with cassettes with his own music.
In 1985, due to the reputation gained in local circles, he was invited by MTV to take part in one of the episodes of The Cutting Edge TV show. In the same year, Johnston performed at the Woodshock Music Festival in Austin. In 1988, Johnston visited New York and recorded the 1990 album, produced by Kramer, at Noise New York. In total, Daniel released ten albums.
Interest in Johnston was attracted by Kurt Cobain, who considered him his idol and often appeared in a T-shirt with the inscription “Hi, How Are You.” He also used this slogan on his unfinished album. In his youth, Johnston was diagnosed with manic-depressive psychosis and schizophrenia, and this was a constant problem throughout his life. The musician decided to stop his career due to health problems.

3. British singer Charli XCX has released a new album, entitled "Charli."
The album became her third studio work. It consists of 15 tracks, the creation of which were accompanied by Troy Sivan, Sky Ferreira, Christine, and the Queens, Haim and many others.
In September 2019, Charli XCX will go on a huge tour with it. Before her world tour, the artist will visit two dozen cities in the United States and will travel across Europe. This is going to be her biggest tour ever.
